Meet the Earth

Meet the Earth

Meet the Earth introduces young children to the planet they live on through joyful, hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Through an interactive presentation of When You See Me: The Earth’s Story, guided discussion, visual exploration, and sensory activities, children learn to recognize the Earth by its round shape, colors, and familiar natural features. Each session is facilitated by a trained KEEPS Global EcoCoach and concludes with a hands-on activity that reinforces the lesson. One signature activity is the Earth Light Project, in which children paint a small globe using the Earth’s colors. When illuminated, it becomes a glowing reminder of the planet they have learned to recognize and their growing connection to the natural world

Take-home materials encourage children to continue exploring and discussing Earth concepts with their families. When funding permits, children may also receive a signed copy of When You See Me: The Earth’s Story, strengthening the connection between classroom learning and learning at home.
