KEEPS Global is a nonprofit organization advancing early environmental literacythrough joyful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. We help young children understand the Earth, explore its land, air, and water environments, and discover the environmental occupations that help protect our communities.
Our whole-child approach uses interactive storytelling, dramatic play, sensory exploration, guided discussion, and cooperative projects to encourage communication, curiosity, creativity, confidence, belonging, and positive interactions with adults and peers.
Children are also introduced to KEEPS Global’s Six Key Environmental Principles: water education, energy education, recycling, pollution prevention, gardening, and composting. Through these foundational experiences, children gain the knowledge, vocabulary, and confidence to care for the Earth, make environmentally responsible choices, and begin seeing themselves as advocates for a healthy planet—learning to always “Think and Live Environmentally.”
KEEPS Global's mission is to advance early environmental literacy through developmentally appropriate programs that empower young children and families to achieve positive environmental change, advocate for a healthy planet, and to ‘Think and Live Environmentally.’
